The Exhibition

Tarim ve Teknoloji Gunleri – is the only applied outdoor exibition of Turkey after the DLG – Tarla Gunleri. It is an annual event for agricultural machinery and technology as much as crop production. Tractor, agricultural equipment,animal husbandry,cattle and buffalo– meat and dairy-, goat and sheep dairy, seed, pesticide and fertilizer producers present their latest technologies and innovations on trial plots, machine demonstration area and agricultural implements on campus grass. The Market

Thrace region is has a large agricultural basis in the Turkey. In total there is 9,5 million ha arable land. Main crop is wheat besides sunflower, mais, rice, rape seeds and lately fruit production. Region’s farmers are very suitable with the latest Technologies and agricultural innovations also adopt immediately. For example 70% of the sunflower production of Turkey comes from this region. Wheat production yield is 2.8 ton/ha all over the country. When it comes to Thrace region number goes up to 5.9 ton/ha. Hereby farmers stand a step ahead.
